Rupanae, although still young, lost her husband from tribal fighting leaving her with three small children to care for. The average age of the nomadic peoples of Sub Saharan Africa is fourty five years old because of fighting, disease, and starvation. These people survive on their animals, only Rupanae, already impoverished, was left with none when her husband was shot.
Rupane and her children have struggled on these last months on handouts and food relief. But we heard of her plight. A big hearted donor gifted 5 goats on GiveTech.com and now Rupane has dignity and the ability to provide for her children again. It has meant the world to her.
